The supermarket and grocery store shelves are crammed with protein bars, but there’s always room for one more. And the latest to join the throng is the California-based Go Better Protein Wafer Bars, created by the Being Better Matters company.

This unique line of bars was created by the father and son team of Gerry and Bram Morris, who are originally from Montreal but now are living in Southern California, and they’re the name behind Go Better protein bars, manufactured in the greater Los Angeles area, made with no artificial colours, flavours, preservatives or GMOs.

Each bar starts with whole nuts and creamy almond butter inside light crispy wafers. The bars are then dipped in dark chocolate, and include flavour-specific natural ingredients such as hazelnuts, almonds, coconut and honey oats. The bars derive their protein mainly from egg whites, and come in a variety of flavours including Coconut Crunch, Hazelnut Crunch and more.

Currently available in select stores including Circle K, 7-11, Husky and more.
